Beth Denmark

Beth Denmark joins us from Takeda Pharmaceuticals as the Head of U.S. People Advisory Group. In this role Beth is accountable for Employee experience, HR Policies, Employee relations and HR communications for over 20,000 employees in the U.S. region. Over the last two years, Beth has supported seven business units with COVID related policies and benefits, vaccination mandates and now is supporting the return to Takeda’s offices for over 6,000 hybrid-based employees.

Prior to joining Takeda, Beth served as Employee Relations Lead for Shire and Director of HR Business Partners & HR Compliance at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she worked for 16 years. During those years, Beth covered the full spectrum of Human Resources, including labor relations, contract negotiations, and employee relations. She honed her competency in managing the most complex employee relations situations, advising executive and senior-level leadership, and supporting the expansions of both employee resource groups (ERGs) and employee assistance program (EAP) use.

Passionate on social issues around access to behavioral health care and dependent care overarchingly, promoting broadscale equity, and supporting those impacted by domestic violence, Beth prioritizes service beyond her professional life. A graduate of Providence College, Beth resides in Reading, MA, where she is raising her school-aged family with her husband.
